The OFAA is having a retrospective of Linda Stremel's work at the White Lions Tea House. From August 6 to September 3, 2014. All are welcome to visit, purchase and enjoy the remaining works of our fellow artist. Linda will be missed by family, and friends. In Light and Love we remember our fellow artist through her works.

Paint-out July 12, 2014 - Shimera's

It was a perfect day. A clear blue sky, fresh dew under our feet, bees buzzing and the birds chirping. One had to remember that this was a paint-out. You really wanted to close your eyes and just be in the moment. Many of us did just that. A small yet committed group of artists met at Shimera's on Brennan line to share our love of art and companionship with each other. The place is perfect for paint-outs with a lovely pond, hammock swing, bird houses, manicured lawns and so much more.

Plenair Paint-Out a Huge Success

Well my friends, you missed a fabulous day at Northbrook Farm. Not only was the weather perfect, there was a slight breeze to keep the bugs away. The birds were singing in the trees, frogs croaking in the pond and a wonderful Victorian High Tea served to us afterward. Our thanks to the nine ladies who took part and to Laurie Orser owner of Northbrook Farm for her hospitality, tour and amazing food. Here are some photos taken on Sunday for you to enjoy.

· Please ensure that you have read submission guidelines for this venue-focusing on size, wiring, labelling of art work, frame etc. . Please take a moment to focus on wiring as some artpieces' wiring have been creating difficulty for the installers. Artwork is generally hung on two chains so a taunt wire is helpful.We will be unable to accept artwork late or artwork not conforming to guidelines.
