Reception: April 3rd, 2014 at 7-9pm
"The Orillia Museum of Arts & History is proud to present "Life & Limb", a juried exhibition of contemporary Canadian artworks themed around the "body".
Work was selected from around a diversity crop of artists from across the country. These artists, who practice embrace, challenge or otherwise engage representations of the body, bring together a range of approaches including classical figures drawings and paintings, abstraction, web-base video, photography, sculpture and interactive performance.
A Juror's prize of $500.00 will be awarded at the opening reception, and a People's Choice Award of $300.00 will be awarded at the end of the show run.
